Sanctuary Manager & Adoption Coordinator

Katie graduated from the University of Wyoming with a degree in Equine Science. Her childhood around horses has fueled her passion to work with them today. From breeding facilities to wild horse sanctuaries, she loves to learn and educate people about horses. She previously interned for us in 2021 and has returned as a full-time employee.

In her spare time, she enjoys working on the ranch, spending time with her dog Bella and trying new recipes in the kitchen.

Austin Alley—Lander, Wyoming

Austin is a true local with deep roots in Wyoming. He grew up in Lander and he’s worked on various ranches throughout the northern Rocky Mountains. From ranching to competing in rodeos and taking pack trips into the rugged Wind River Mountains, his bond with horses is profound. He embodies the enduring spirit of the west and has been a dedicated member of our ranch and family for over a decade.

In his spare time, he loves hunting, fishing, roping, and drinking Mountain Dew.
