Experience the beauty of wild mustangs up-close and in person.

One of three Wyoming wild horse eco-sanctuaries, the Wind River Wild Horse Sanctuary is the only one located on an Indian Reservation. Our free Visitor Center hosts a curated, interpretive display describing the importance of the horse in the culture and traditions of Native Americans, as well as the history of wild horses in North America. Choose a special-made gift to bring home from our gift shop. For the best experience, schedule a guided tour of the working ranch and wild horses, available during operating hours and by appointment.
